California Earthquakes
In California, ABC7 (2026) reported a San Francisco earthquake that began as a preliminary magnitude 3.0 near the San Francisco Zoo before being downgraded to 2.9, followed by aftershocks of 2.0 and 2.7 just minutes later. All three were centered two miles south southwest of the zoo, and no injuries or major damage were reported.
